Hello!! Welcome to my blog, Bella Raine! My name is Bella Raine, and I am a Christ following, creative, outgoing teenager. This blog is about all things art, books, and writing!
I’m writing this post on my back deck looking out at my yard covered in crunchy fall leaves!! It’s dreamy!! I don’t know about you, but fall is my MOST favorite season of all!!! Why you ask? Well a few reasons…
The weather. If you want to make Bella happy, give her some parmesean cheese, a sweatshirt and leggings, a macrame swing, a good book, and put her outside in sunny 70Β° degree weather!
The fall colors. Ahh the changing of the leaves and the beautiful warm colors of fall are spectacular!!
(and of course my birthday is in the fall so that naturally makes it the best season of all! π )
I did a post back in the summer of my favorite summer-y photos I’d snapped, and so today I thought I’d do that again, but fall edition!! I hope you enjoy these autumn pics!!
These yellow rainboots hid away in my closet for a long time and then one day I rediscovered them, and convinced myself to make an outfit around them for my grandfather’s bonfire birthday party!! Overalls (with lace), a warm colored plaid long sleeve, a mustard floral scrunchie, and of course the boots made a super “fall-y” outfit! Paired with the leaves and the dramatic filter, it’s perfect! (if i do say so myself)
Ok I know second picture in and it’s not fall, but my family went on a bike ride, and nearby a pond we stopped at, I found these oyster (?) shells that were soooo iridescent and pretty!!!
This is a pic from that same bike ride, and I thought a black-and-white filter might be kind of fun!
This is the same picture but one in color and one in black and white!!! This is one of the many ponds we found on our bike ride!!
Turquoise converse are my fave and sitting in the grass next to another pond (not on the bike ride) after eating apple-y donuts on National Apple Day is perfect!! (We also bobbed for apples on Nat Apple Day which was…. an experience I’ll never forget! π )
I know I know flowers are typically “fall” but my mom’s hydrangeas are late-bloomers this season and the amount of colors in this one blossom is so beautiful!!
I came outside with my camera a few days ago, and my little brother told me he would run ahead on his bike and look for flowers I could take pictures of! <3 He spotted this Queen Anne’s Lace (i think that’s what it is) and I played around with the perspective to make it interesting!! The fall colors in the trees behind in are so fun!
One of my family’s four goats, Andy, wanted his picture taken!! π Lots of fall leaves on the ground!
This is the biggest fall colored leaf I found on my property! This tree (I think it’s a poplar) sheds the biggest leaves- it’s always so fun to go and find the biggest one!! And the day I was taking these, I just kept walking around in circles under this tree since the leaves were so crunchy and happy to listen to!!!
And yes… this is the smallest fall leaf I found!! (Ok to be accurate though, I did find a teensy tiny yellow leaf that was so tiny I figured it would only show up as a fleck in the picture, so I went with this one!)
What little boy doesn’t like throwing rocks into ponds?? (The action shot here is SO fun!! Hehe….)
And there you have it!! I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing what fall looks like in my side of the world! Enjoy the rest of your fall, everyone!!
What is your favorite season? Do the leaves change color where you live? Do you like taking pictures? Iβd love to chat in the comments, and I respond to each of you!
Until next time,
Bella

βIf you want to make Bella happy, give her some parmesean cheese, a sweatshirt and leggings, a macrame swing, a good book, and put her outside in sunny 70Β° degree weather!β That sounds like me! I was joking with my sister the other day about how wonderful itβd be if, for my birthday, everyone pitched in and bought me a huge Parmesan cheese wheel, haha! Great post!
