Fun Fact About Bella:

My favorite color is turquoise! (Or teal, or aqua, whatever you want to call it!)

You might’ve guessed that already since there’s a lot of turquoise on this blog! Well because turquoise is my favorite color, I have a lot of things that are turquoise, one of which being a digital camera!

Currently I’m in a photography phase, and have been taking a bunch of pictures! Mostly since there is a big field behind my house that is filled with lots of good thing to photograph! Today I thought I’d take a break from the book reviews and art posts and give you a sampling of some of the pictures I’ve been taking recently!!

I have no idea what these plants are but I love them! They’ve always fascinated me since they give a cactus/desert feel and only grow in one certain spot of the field, which is at the very center of the wet-weather pond!

Even though this snap-dragon looking flowers is what I was trying to capture here, the camera decided it wanted to focus on the background, but I think it turned out pretty cool!

These purple flowers are all over the field and they are so beautiful!! If you look on the bottom of the picture you can see more of those mystery plants!

Ah ladybugs…they are such fun little bugs! In this shoot I tried to take pictures of a bunch of ladybugs but it’s pretty hard to capture something in motion! Thankfully this little fella was cooperative!

This picture is so dramatic! The sun was shining brightly behind me but the sky was so dark with storm clouds ahead! (Don’t worry I went inside after I took this picture!)

These aren’t actually daisies but they kind of look like them don’t they? There were some little bugs making their home in the flower in the foreground!

I went out and got this picture right after it rained and the water droplets on this flower are so beautiful to me!

Doesn’t this picture just make you laugh? It makes me chuckle when I see it! Something about the way they’re eyeing you just make it so humorous!

Honeysuckle! One of my favorite spring fragrances! These weren’t quite ready to suck the nectar out of yet, but they were so pretty!

Again, I’m not sure what these flowers are but this was the first time I’d ever seen them and though they were really gorgeous!

Trees are so majestic, aren’t they? When you stand under one and look up they are just so…magical! I love  the sun shining through the leaves and branches!

This was a snapshot from my mom’s garden, since the lettuce was just so beautiful! Something about the perfect spiral of the leaves and the bright green color, are so satisfying!

There were so many pictures I was going to share but I didn’t have space to put them all there, so I hope you like the ones I chose!

I just love how much beauty can be found when you look for it. All of these pictures, all of these plants, all of that diversity came from one backyard! Can you believe it? It’s something that makes me just so in awe of the infinity creative God! Next time you go outside, take a moment and try and find a least 3 things that are beautiful. You might surprise yourself at how many little nuggets of beauty can be found when you have the eyes to see it.
