Today I’ll be showing you my 10 favorite fluid acrylic pieces that’s I’ve created! First off- you might be asking…What is the world is fluid acrylic art?

Fluid acrylic is an art medium used to create flowing, loose, fluid looking art pieces. I take standard acrylic paint, the mix it with a pouring medium (often along with a little water), that loosen and liquidate the paint. Then I pour it over my surface, most often stretched canvas, but I use ceramic tiles a bunch also. Air is the primary method to move the paint around, whether my own lungs through a straw or a blow dryer, but sometimes I’ll use other methods like dipping the surface directly in the paint or tilting the surface around to spread the paint. I can never quite know what the painting is going to look like for it has a mind of it’s own, and it so fun to see how they turn out each time!

To be honest, this one is probably my favorite since it’s my favorite colors, but I digress. This is on a 12×12 canvas, and can be purchased here!

This was one of my first one I’ve ever did, and now lives on my grandmother’s wall! I love the bold contrast of this one!!

This 6×6 ceramic tile lives with my aunt on her art desk! The cool things about this one is the gold & silver were metallic paints so they shimmer!!
